Interior Design

The one bedroom flat in my hometown, Katowice (Poland) was in a desperate need of renovations. I have designed the new layout, including: functional layout, electrical layout, removing some walls, and building an extra storage space. The space has been completely redone, including new windows and doors, new radiators, new floors bathroom and kitchen.

Some of the furniture is the original 1970s furniture, carefully renovated, with chairs reupholstered in the same fabric as the bespoke curtains. The bras hangers have been designed by myself and hand made by a local turner and my dad.

The flat has been decorated with framed black and white maps of the cities i lived in throughout my life, including Bristol. I then staged it for the photo shoot using some of my favourite family crockery from the 70s, made in communist Poland.
